Our partnered school is a brand‑new specialist SEN school opening this May in Knowle West, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable HLTA’s to join the founding classroom team.
This is a unique chance to help shape a new provision created by an Ofsted Outstanding setting known for its exceptional practice and supportive ethos. To help you settle into the role, we’re ideally looking for someone who can begin at their site in Fishponds for hands‑on training before moving to the new school.
As an SEN HLTA in the classroom, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils with complex needs through a highly personalised, developmental curriculum. Instead of traditional secondary subjects, pupils follow programmes focused on communication, independence, sensory regulation, life skills, and meaningful learning experiences tailored to their individual profiles.
You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging, accessible sessions and ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive. You’ll also step into classes when required, helping maintain a calm, structured, and nurturing environment.
