We’re excited to be recruiting full‑time SEN Learning & Care Assistants (8.45-3.45) to join our partnered school as we continue to grow and strengthen our provision for pupils with complex needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated, compassionate team supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs, including PMLD, SLD, ASC and complex medical or sensory needs. Your role will be central to helping pupils develop communication, independence, emotional regulation, and life skills – celebrating every small step along the way.
As an SEN Learning & Care Assistant, you will:
Provide personalised support to pupils with complex needs
Assist with communication, sensory programmes, and structured routines
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Deliver high‑quality personal care with dignity and respect
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and specialist staff
Help create a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment
Has experience supporting individuals with disabilities (desirable, not essential)
Is confident working with pupils who may display behaviours that challenge
Can provide 1:1 or 2:1 support where needed
Is comfortable with personal care
Brings warmth, patience, and resilience
Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to teamwork
Wants to learn, grow, and develop specialist SEN skills
A welcoming, supportive team with strong values
