We’re recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in Clevedon. This role is ideal for compassionate, patient individuals with experience supporting children with additional needs.
About the Role
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Provide 1:1 or small‑group support
- Assist with learning, wellbeing, and classroom routines
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to meet pupil needs
- Help create a safe, nurturing learning environment
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people (school, care, SEN, youth work, etc.)
- A patient, calm, and supportive approach
- Strong communication skills
- DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
