We’re recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools in Weston‑super‑Mare and the surrounding areas. Perfect for caring, resilient individuals with experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
About the Role
- Provide 1:1 or small‑group support to pupils with a range of SEN
- Assist with learning, communication, regulation, and daily routines
- Help create a safe, supportive classroom environment
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to meet individual needs
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people (school, SEN, care, youth work, etc.)
- Calm, patient, and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
