We’re recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of supportive primary and secondary schools in Northampton. Ideal for patient, compassionate individuals with experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
About the Role
- Provide 1:1 or small‑group support to pupils with a variety of SEN
- Assist with learning, communication, and emotional regulation
- Support the classroom environment and daily routines
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to meet individual needs
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people (school, SEN, care, youth work, etc.)
- Calm, resilient, and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
