Teaching Assistant – Affinity Workforce

Affinity Workforce is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant (TA) to support the learning and well-being of children in primary or secondary school settings. This rewarding role involves working closely with students and teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, while helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, including those with SEND.
• Assist in monitoring student progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Offer pastoral support and encourage positive behaviour and independent learning.
• Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children (school experience not essential).
• Understanding of the UK education system and safeguarding practices.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Patient, reliable, and committed to building positive relationships with students.
• Professional and enthusiastic representation of Affinity Workforce.
