As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and creating a positive learning environment for pupils. Your role includes working with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning, helping manage classroom behaviour, and assisting with lesson preparation and activities. You’ll play a key part in supporting students with varying needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN), and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in their learning under the guidance of the class teacher
- Assist with classroom setup, resources, and displays
- Provide one-to-one or small group support
- Help manage behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive environment
- Support pupils with SEN or additional needs
- Contribute to school activities and outings
