What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young people (education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
- Confidence in supporting lessons as a TA
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to adapt
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Your Role as a Teaching Assistant
You’ll play a key role in supporting teachers and students, helping maintain continuity of learning. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers and keeping students engaged
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students’ learning and encouraging participation
- Reporting back on progress and classroom activity
- Building strong relationships with students and staff
