Teaching Assistant

Affinity Workforce Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for a highly regarded Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Special Needs School in the BS4 area, seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their vibrant and inclusive team.

This rewarding role involves providing general classroom support in a specialist setting that caters to children with severe and profound disabilities. The school caters for children of a secondary age group working on a primary curriculum. You’ll work closely with teachers to create a supportive, engaging, and accessible learning environment-helping every child reach their full potential.

The role is a full- time position and the hours of the roles are 8.45-3.45.

Our pupils have a range of needs, including:

• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Complex Needs

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience in a similar role or with individuals with disabilities (desirable)
• Is confident working with challenging behaviour
• Can provide 1:1 or 2:1 support tailored to individual needs
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Is proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic
• Is committed to inclusion and continuous learning
