Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
  • Foster a classroom culture that promotes confidence, independence and resilience.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching.
  • Work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community.
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and achievement for all learners.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 or demonstrate a strong passion for this phase.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment expectations.
  • Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to delivering engaging learning opportunities.
  • Have strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
  • Be dedicated to promoting positive outcomes for every pupil.
