We are seeking skilled education professionals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. These opportunities are available across a variety of primary school settings, offering rewarding roles for individuals who are confident in leading learning, supporting classroom teaching, and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering planned lessons in the absence of a teacher.
  • Providing targeted intervention support to individuals and small groups.
  • Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance pupil progress.
  • Assisting with assessment, monitoring, and reporting on pupil achievement.
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Supporting the wider school community and contributing to extracurricular activities where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

Schools are looking for professionals who:

  • Hold HLTA status or have equivalent relevant experience.
  • Have experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
  • Are confident delivering lessons across a range of age groups.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are adaptable, proactive, and committed to raising educational outcomes.
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
