We are looking for an ambitious, driven, and commercially minded Managing Consultant to lead and grow our Education Recruitment division in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who thrives on building high-performing teams, developing lasting client relationships, and driving business growth within the education sector.

The Role
As a Managing Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing our presence across the education market, managing key client partnerships and driving the success of your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Education Recruitment Consultants.
- Run a successful Primary Desk
- Drive business development activity to win new schools, academies, and Multi-Academy Trusts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders and decision-makers.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts.
- Support consultants in achieving and exceeding performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and recruitment legislation.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share and revenue.
- Maintain a strong candidate network of teachers and support staff.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven success within Education Recruitment or a closely related recruitment sector.
- Strong billing history and business development capabilities.
- Experience managing or mentoring recruitment consultants.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially focused with a passion for achieving results.
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience working with Primary, Secondary, SEND, or Further Education sectors.
- Knowledge of local education markets across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas.
- Previous leadership or branch management experience.
