Affinity Workforce have been spring cleaning for TEMWA. The three-month fundraising drive started on 22nd January and comes to an end on 31st March 2024.
This scheme is aimed at not only decluttering our homes but also making a meaningful impact on the environment while supporting TEMWA, our charity of the year in 2023.
Led by our passionate Green Champions, the initiative encourages employees across all branches to contribute enthusiastically. During January, February & March, each branch is collecting used DVDs, CDs, and books. The process is simple – employees can gather their items, bring them to the office, and dedicated branch representatives will log barcode details on Ziffit to determine their value. All proceeds generated from this initiative will be donated to TEMWA, directly benefiting communities in Malawi.
In addition to the donation drive, we’re encouraging our employees to clear out their wardrobes and recycle their unwanted clothes. Instead of discarding items, this idea aims to give their clothes a new life.
We’re setting up a ‘Vinted’ clothes rail in each of our larger branches, promoting a sustainable fashion culture among our team members. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure after all!
