Affinity Partnerships are working with a secondary special school for students with SEMH and mental health needs. Many pupils have had difficult previous experiences with education, and the school uses restorative and reflective practice instead of punitive behaviour systems.

We are recruiting:

  • LSAs to provide 1:1 support

Key Responsibilities (LSAs):

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Build positive, therapeutic relationships
  • Assist with restorative conversations and emotional regulation
  • Support learning for disengaged or vulnerable pupils

Ideal Candidate:

  • SEMH experience or strong behaviour management
  • Patient, reflective, trauma-informed
  • Team Teach experience (bonus)

This position is on a full-time basis and full support, and guidance will be given. There will also be opportunities to complete additional training whilst in the role. Pay is £90-£124 per day, based on experience.
