Affinity Partnerships are collaborating with a specialist SEMH school supporting boys aged 5-19 with social, emotional and mental health needs. Many of our students also face moderate learning and attachment difficulties.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Food Technology Teacher to deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that go far beyond the classroom. You will play a key role in helping students build essential life skills, independence, and confidence, preparing them for life beyond education. Working within a nurturing and supportive setting, you will adapt your teaching to meet individual needs while using a positive, trauma-informed approach to behaviour.
In this role, you will design and deliver creative, differentiated lessons, create a safe and structured learning environment, and support students’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic progress. You’ll encourage practical skill development linked to real-life and vocational pathways, working closely with a strong support network of staff and professionals to help every student thrive.
