Have you completed a Psychology or Counselling qualification?
We are seeking experienced support staff for children that have social, emotional, mental health needs (SEMH). Affinity Workforce work with a number of schools across East London who are in need of individuals to work 1:1 and in small group sessions with pupils who may have experienced trauma; have mental health issues and a variety of other needs which can be displayed through behaviour.
The Role
Previous experience of this kind would be advantageous, but the role is open to any teaching assistants/councillors/psychology graduates who would like to develop their knowledge. The roles we have available vary but they will all be to provide a unique and comfortable learning environment for the individual. This type of support would mostly be on a 1:1 basis however some group work will be involved to try and promote learning socially and developing relationship with the individual’s peers.
