Supply Teacher
Location: Swindon

Affinity Workforce is working in partnership with schools and Multi Academy Trusts in Swindon, and we are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to support across a range of year groups and subjects.

We have a high demand for staff, offering both flexible day‑to‑day cover and longer‑term teaching placements. Whether you’re looking for ad‑hoc work, consistent bookings, or a long‑term role starting September 2026, we can help find the right opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher
  • Following school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety
  • Providing feedback to schools on pupil progress and classroom activity

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (preferred)
  • Experience teaching in UK schools (essential)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
