Primary School Teacher

Affinity Partnerships are looking for a qualified Primary School Teacher for a school in the Hengrove for maternity cover for term 1.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable teaching KS1 and KS2 and have classroom experience as the school require a teacher who is adaptable, and able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

The successful candidate should be passionate about creating an engaging learning environment and committed to supporting children of all abilities to reach their full potential. Strong behaviour management skills and a flexible approach are essential.

The successful applicant:

• Qualified Teachers Status.
• Have a sound understanding of Primary Education.
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
• Have confidence supporting the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
