The Protocol Group (part of the Affinity Workforce Solutions Group) are looking for a Senior Business Development Recruitment Consultant to join our high performing Nottingham Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a growing further education desk, combining your recruitment expertise with a strategic, relationship-led approach to business growth.

What you’ll be doing?
- Owning a 360 recruitment desk within the Further Education sector
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to grow the client portfolio
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers across colleges and training providers
- Source, attract, and place high-quality candidates in roles ranging from lecturers to support staff
- Stay up to date with sector trends, funding changes, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with the wider recruitment team to ensure seamless service delivery
- This role will be heavily focussed on Business Development
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in Recruitment and/or Sales, hitting KPI’s and targets
- Strong business development skills with a track record of winning new clients
- A strategic approach to candidate attraction and client retention
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A proactive, target-driven mindset with a passion for education
- Knowledge of FE funding, safeguarding, and compliance is desirable
