The Sky Academy is seeking a motivated and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging and meaningful science lessons to students, helping them develop both academically and personally.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching, monitoring student progress, and adapting your approach to meet individual needs. The role also includes contributing to the wider life of the academy and supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Sky Academy is a specialist provision for pupils aged 5-16 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), supporting social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
The school is based in Taunton and serves young people across Somerset. A strong emphasis is placed on creating an education that prepares students for adulthood, combining core subjects such as literacy and numeracy with a broader curriculum including PSHE, PE, life skills and creative subjects.
The academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF), a multi-academy trust with schools across the South West. The trust is committed to improving life chances through high-quality education, collaboration, and continuous development.
