You’ll be joining a specialist alternative provision school in Bristol that gives young people a fresh start outside mainstream education. This nurturing, therapeutic environment helps pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs rebuild trust, self‑belief and meaningful engagement with learning.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Mentoring young people with behavioural, emotional and social needs
* Being a calm and steady presence when pupils face challenging moments
* Offering outreach support for students struggling to attend or engage
* Helping young people regulate, reset and return to learning
* Working closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams to embed personalised behaviour plans
* Encouraging pupils to grow emotionally, build resilience and develop positive routines
* Providing consistent support that helps pupils feel seen, heard and believed in
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting young people with behaviour needs, SEMH or complex backgrounds
* Someone who builds trust quickly and stays calm under pressure
* A role model who can set boundaries with warmth, clarity and consistency
* Someone adaptable who thrives in a role where no two days look the same
* A genuine passion for helping vulnerable pupils move forward
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as outreach is part of the role
What’s In It for You
- Full time hours, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00
* A day rate between £90 and £130, depending on experience
