Primary Teacher

Affinity Partnerships are looking for Primary Supply Teachers to work in schools across Somerset!

We are working with a range of primary schools and academy trusts throughout Somerset, offering flexible teaching opportunities for passionate and dedicated educators. Whether you’re looking for a few days’ work each week to fit around existing commitments or seeking a full-time role, we have opportunities to suit your needs.

The Role

The ideal candidate will be confident teaching across the Primary age range and committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best.

Successful applicants will:

• Have a sound understanding of the Primary curriculum
• Be confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that support pupil progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
• Be able to work collaboratively with school staff while demonstrating initiative
• Have a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent classroom management skills

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
