CER Education Recruitment (part of the Affinity Workforce Solutions Group) is looking for a motivated and highly organised Recruitment Resourcer to join our successful Newcastle team.

Working closely with our recruitment consultants, you’ll play a key role in attracting, on-boarding and supporting education professionals while ensuring all compliance requirements are completed to the highest standards.

The Role

As a Recruitment Resourcer, you will be responsible for building and managing candidate pipelines, supporting compliance processes, and ensuring candidates receive an excellent experience throughout their journey with CER.

• £25,000 – £27,000
• 37.5 Hours per week (Mon – Fri)
• Your Birthday & Christmas Eve off in addition to your annual leave entitlement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sourcing and attracting high-quality education professionals through job boards, social media, referrals and database searches
• Conducting candidate screening calls and initial interviews
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates
• Managing candidate registrations and onboarding processes
• Supporting the completion of safeguarding, vetting and compliance checks
• Ensuring all candidate records are accurate, up to date and compliant
• Providing a high level of customer service to candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Proactively engaging with existing candidates to maximise availability and placement opportunities
• Working closely with consultants to fulfil client requirements quickly and effectively
• Meeting and exceeding agreed activity targets and KPIs

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced recruitment environment
• An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused and passionate about delivering a positive candidate experience
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Target-driven and motivated by achieving KPIs and objectives
• Competent using recruitment systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications

Previous recruitment, resourcing, customer service, administration or sales experience would be advantageous, but attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are equally important.
