About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support and interventions
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Assist with classroom preparation and general school duties

About You
We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who:
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Are patient, nurturing, and resilient
- Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Can adapt to meet the diverse needs of pupils
- Are proactive, reliable, and flexible
- Are passionate about inclusive education and helping every child succeed
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, SEND qualifications, or equivalent experience) are desirable but not essential.
