Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Whitefield? Affinity Workforce is proud to be working in partnership with Vision Multi Academy Trust to recruit committed SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across its schools.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support and interventions
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Assist with classroom preparation and general school duties

About You

We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who:

  • Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Are patient, nurturing, and resilient
  • Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Can adapt to meet the diverse needs of pupils
  • Are proactive, reliable, and flexible
  • Are passionate about inclusive education and helping every child succeed

Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, SEND qualifications, or equivalent experience) are desirable but not essential.
