SEND Teaching Assistant

Affinity Partnerships are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant position at a reputable secondary school based in Portishead. If you’re passionate about education and looking to contribute to children’s social, emotional and academic development this could be the perfect role for you.

This is a full-time role starting in September

Responsibilities:

• Assist with delivering engaging and interactive lessons
• Following school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, health and safety
• Support students with learning and development as required
• Maintain a positive and friendly environment
• Offering 1-1 support where required

Requirements:

• An enhanced DBS check
• Experience supporting or teaching pupils with SEND
• A patient, supportive and adaptable approach
