We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable teachers who can inspire pupils, create engaging learning environments, and support students with a range of learning needs. Experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) pupils and managing challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
A background in sports coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar roles would be highly beneficial, as these skills often translate well into building positive relationships, promoting engagement, and supporting behaviour management within the classroom.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and promote positive outcomes.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- ECTs and Newly Qualified Teachers are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with SEN pupils is desirable.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to teaching.
- Sports coaching, mentoring, or youth work experience is advantageous.
