Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher looking for your next role in Northampton? Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT), newly qualified, or an experienced educator, we would love to hear from you.

We are working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Northampton that are looking for dedicated teachers to join their teams from September. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils and are confident in managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Candidates with a background in sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, or similar roles are highly encouraged to apply, as these skills are often invaluable in supporting pupil engagement, behaviour management, and personal development.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary age range.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEN.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and school leadership teams.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • ECTs and Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working with SEN pupils is desirable.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching.
  • Sports coaching, youth work, or mentoring experience is advantageous.
