We are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the largest Multi Academy Trusts in South Gloucestershire and, due to increasing demand across their schools, we are looking to connect with dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants for a range of exciting opportunities throughout the academic year. Whether you’re an experienced SEND professional, a Teaching Assistant looking to specialise in additional needs, or someone with transferable experience supporting children and young people, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

Our partner schools are committed to creating inclusive learning environments where every child has the opportunity to succeed. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Roles may involve supporting pupils with:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Speech and Language Needs
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • Complex and Additional Needs

Opportunities are available on a:

  • Daily supply basis
  • Short-term assignments
  • Long-term placements
  • One-to-one support roles
  • Small group interventions
  • Permanent contracts

We Are Looking For Individuals Who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
  • Are passionate about inclusion and supporting individual learning journeys
  • Work well as part of a wider school team
  • Have strong communication and behaviour management skills

Experience within schools is desirable but not essential. We also welcome applications from those with backgrounds in care, youth work, support work, psychology, health and social care, or similar settings.
