Our training portfolio has been thoughtfully curated to meet your needs. Candidates have access to comprehensive training modules such as Teaching Assistant Toolkits, Safeguarding Refresher Training, SEND, Primary National Curriculum, and Behaviour Toolkits.

 

AWS employees, on the other hand, can explore a broad range of training programs, including GDPR, Leadership, Candidate Management, Business Development, and Sales.

Behaviour Toolkit

 

This training session offers an overview of the skills required to support the positive behaviours of pupils and be an invaluable part of any school team.

 

The session will cover topics including features of successful schools, root causes of children’s behaviour, understanding a child’s lock, effective behaviour management in action and modelling behaviour.

 

This training session will take place on different days and times: Tuesday 22nd October at 10:30am and Tuesday 29th October at 10:30am and 12:30pm. Please indicate which session you would like to attend in the form below.

Positive Behaviour Management

 

Behaviours that are difficult to manage and can cause significant disruption in a classroom, resulting in stress and anxiety both for the child and staff. Supporting you in finding ways to manage this, we focus on the importance of adopting a consistent approach both within the school and ourselves. We look at a range of de-escalation strategies, verbal and non-verbal, targeted at developing your skills and confidence.

 

This training session will take place on Wednesday 30th October at 5:30 pm.

Teaching in a UK School

 

This training is designed for staff arriving into the UK. It is aimed for teachers and teaching assistants looking to gain experience working across schools in the UK. We will share essential knowledge to help you feel more prepared and confident going into schools for the first time.

 

This training session will take place on Wednesday 4th December at 5:30 pm.

As part of our dedication to training and development, we have partnered with The Skills Network. Explore over 30 level 2 online learning courses that will help you upskill, reskill, and personally develop.

 

Our fully funded courses pave a seamless path for improving your skills and expanding your limits. With financial concerns out of the equation, you can focus on enhancing your knowledge and perfecting your skills.

Affinity Workforce have partnered with Candidate Go to offer all our candidates free, online courses to support them in their roles. The portal offers 22 optional courses that will benefit your classroom knowledge and skills. You will be able to see all the courses you have completed. Once you have completed the training, there will be an option to download a certificate.

 

How can I access the training?

 

Your consultant will send you a link to the portal, which will enable you to add your name and email address. Once you have inputted this information, you will have access to all the courses and can start your online training.

 

Who do I contact if I have problems accessing the portal?

 

You can access a help centre for commons questions and queries at: https://www.candidatego.com/looking_for_my_training.

Meet Emma Ford, an experienced educational leader in the primary sector. With over a decade of experience in challenging schools, Emma is passionate about creating school cultures centered around values and has expertise in providing bespoke provision for complex children.

 

Emma excels in developing leaders through coaching and strategic professional development. With extensive experience in training delivery across the country, she is well-versed in supporting families within safeguarding. She has worked across the country supporting schools with a wide range of themes including self-evaluation, curriculum development, coaching and induction programmes.
