Positive Behaviour Management

Behaviours that are difficult to manage can cause significant disruption in a classroom. resulting in stress and anxiety both for the child and staff. Supporting you in finding ways to manage this, we focus on the importance of adopting a consistent approach both within the school and ourselves. We look at a range of de-escalation strategies, verbal and non-verbal, targeted at developing your skills and confidence.

Suitable for Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors.

Developing Personal Well Being in the school

A healthy wellbeing is one of the most important things to take into the classroom with you. Sometimes it’s easy to forget about how you’re feeling, but this interactive session will highlight the reasons why it is so important to keep it in check for both you and the pupils you’re working with. We will look at how to recognise things when they may be going wrong, how to get support from colleagues and how to manage stress.

Suitable for all candidates.

Building Resilience to develop Lifelong Learners

This session will focus on the importance of how resilient our pupils are. We will look at ways to be more effective in the classroom, whilst guiding you through the theory and strategies needed to support them through this process. We shall reference Bloom’s Taxonomy, Metacognitive learning strategies and the importance of using skilled questioning strategies.

Suitable for Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors.
